Daoist sage or immortal with a real hair beard and textile cap, dating from the Ming dynasty. The sage figure is seated on a rock and has finely articulated fingers and folds in his robes. His face is shown in an expression of great contemplation, his bare hands and feet emerging from the robe’s textured folds.
