Female dancer Natacha Nattova posed for this bronze in the 1920s at the height of her fame. She was a celebrity ballerina and one of a partnership that pioneered couples dancing in ballet, wowing audiences in the United States and across Europe with audacious lifts and catches. Nattova was famed for her beautiful body.
