A statue of the boxing champion Tommy Monaghan, known as 'Rinty' Monaghan. One hand is raised upwards in triumph, the other holds a microphone. By the time he had retired 'Rinty' was a crowd favourite with 52 career wins. During the intervals he would dance and sing, famously 'When Irish Eyes are Smiling'. One of three works commissioned by Belfast City Council.
