Portrait of John Kelley, Chimney Sweep, 5 Harvey Lane, Leicester. John Kelley had previously worked for the Sun Insurance Company's Fire Brigade for 21 years. The old signboard on the door of the house in Harvey Lane, was inscribed; 'John Kelley he lives here, He sweeps chimneys not too dear, and if by chance they catch on fire, He'll put them out at your desire. Dealer in Black Flour'.
