A marble bust of Mr James Pattison Currie-Blyth; one of a pair. Currie-Blyth was a Director of the Bank of England, and its Governor from 1885 to 1887. He lived with his wife, Euphemia Currie (née Blyth), at Sandown House, Esher, and is buried at Christ Church, Esher. From 1857, the artist of this work, sculptor F. J. Williamson, also lived in Esher.
