James Dewhurst Milne (1903–1987) joined the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company as Sales Director in 1936 and was responsible for the development of the American business, especially the introduction of Dorothy Doughty’s limited edition models of American Birds. He became Managing Director in 1967 and was a Founding Trustee of the Perrins Trust in 1946.
