'Internal Sequence' demonstrates the wide variety of influences, which range from Japanese Manga to the work of Philip Guston, that feed into HaYoung Kim’s explosive paintings.

HaYoung Kim was awarded the first Jerwood Prize at the Royal Academy Schools for her three Internal Sequence works exhibited in Premiums. The prize was an annual purchase award granted to a second year student during the Premiums show to recognise exceptional talent and support the Schools
