London artist Stella Magarshack exhibited her paintings at the Royal Academy during the 1960s. Her paintings are mostly of her home and garden, and she would often include herself within the picture. In this painting 'Interior, Night' although the main subject is the inside of the artist’s kitchen it is also a self portrait – if you look carefully you can see the artist’s reflection in the window.
