Claudia Holder's design was selected to be produced by Paul Margetts as a permanent sculpture for the Holocaust Memorial Garden in Bruce Castle Park, Tottenham. It was unveiled in 2008 at Haringey Council's Holocaust Memorial Service. The artist Claudia Holder was a member of the art group working with Artscope at the Winkfield Centre in Haringey. She said of her design: 'The sculpture is purposefully confrontational, rising from the ground to upset the tranquillity of its setting. It is an uncompromising memorial in every way, thought-provoking, disconcerting and a memorial to universal suffering'.
