The deity Ikenga from Onitsa, Nigeria, by the Igbo (Ibo) peoples. Ikenga (literally 'Place of strength') is a warrior deity (an 'Alusi') of Time, Success and Achievement. The figure is made out of hardwood, and decorated with sand-yellow and white coloured dots and patterns. The figure depicts a man holding a European style pipe in his mouth, sitting on a stool, with two long ram horns on his head.
