The three sculptures are spread across the Exchange development with 'I Am Free' set at the west end; 'I Am Me' is sited in the middle on grass area in front of the new building; 'I Am Strong' is located at the opposite end on another grassed area, near the car park. A related plaque is positioned near the bike rack by the car park. Angela Macphearson, Leader of Aylesbury Vale Districted Council and Hilary Chipping, SEMLEP’s Chief Executive formally unveiled the public artworks.

Inscription description

i am / The three unique sculptures in the Exchange celebrate the creativity and strength / of the human spirit in the face of challenge. They were inspired by the town’s / links with the Paralympic Movement and by local community groups who shared / their feelings about this public space. Their words are woven throughout the / space including in the metal ribbons on the ground, tree grills and cycle rack. The / sculptures are called i am free (standing, shown below), i am strong (horizontal / pose) and i am me (crouching).
