One of a set of 16 bronzed plaster busts of poets, philosophers, scientists and statesmen from ancient Greece and Rome and from seventeenth-century and eighteenth-century England. A bust of Homer, epic poet and author of the 'Iliad' and the 'Odyssey', cast of plaster and painted to look like bronze, with a hand-painted label inscribed in gold 'Homer'.
