A statue of an eagle with a caricatured face of Adolf Hitler. The eagle is sinking its talons into a corpse, which symbolises Poland, in a political comment on the invasion of the country by Nazi forces. The work was commissioned by Roy Russell of Stenbury Manor, near Godshill, during the Second World War.
