Conte study by J.D Fergusson for his painting 'Voile Indienne' 1992.265, depicting a woman in Bardot (off the shoulder) dress presumably standing against textile drapes decorated with flowers and foliage. 'Shadow' inscribed in conte on her right shoulder. Conservation mounted 21 Feb 1992.
