Rural scene; a young woman / girl leans against a wooden gate set into a line of border fencing, with a stile in the foreground and wooded area to the background. On the top of the gate, she tiredly places her right arm over and rests her face, eyes closed, whilst her left hand is held against her left hip, hat hanging from the wrist. Detailed line engraving, with high contrast.
