The four-sided obelisk is stepped at the bottom and sloping at the top. Carved rams heads and festoons decorate the corners, and on three sides there are small designs in relief consisting of a horn (possibly the horn of plenty), a peacock and heraldic shields. The stone commemorates the 50th anniversary of George III.
