Throughout the Grounds of the AELTC there are several bespoke sculptures that have been created in remembrance of British achievements. A visitor favourite is the bronze sculpture of the former World No. 1, Fred Perry. The bronze sculpture depicts Perry in action, holding a tennis racket in his right hand and a tennis ball in his left hand. On the front plinth is an engraved description detailing the Champion's name as well as the dates he won The Championships (1934–1936). It was created by David Wynee and unveiled in 1984. It is currently positioned opposite the Debenture Holders’ Entrance at Gate 4.
