Frank James is Professor of History of Science at the Royal Institution (Ri) and editor of the 'Correspondence of Michael Faraday', which was published between 1991 and 2012. In his other role as Head of Heritage and Collections he oversaw the refurbishment and re-interpretation of the Faraday Museum at the Ri. He is seen here in Faraday’s original magnetic laboratory, which is a central part of the museum.
