Possibly made by an unknown Italian sculptural workshop. A young lady partially draped with a classical robe that is caught within the crook of her left arm and falls to her right beside the tree stump behind her and to her left and across her stomach to fall to her right. She holds in her right hand a garland of flowers, and in her left what appears to be a stalk perhaps. Her head is tilted to her left to look at the small bird perched upon her left shoulder. In her hair are further garlands of flowers. Raised on an English Ketton, or possibly Silsoe, stone. The pedestal stands on dates to the early eighteenth century.
