A monument, in the form of a horizontal sword set on a plinth, to the Scots who fell at Flodden. It was unveiled by James Pringle of Torwoodlee, Galashiels, whose forebears sent soldiers to the battle and who is a direct descendant of Abbess Hoppringle of Coldstream Priory. The monument overlooks the Coldstream Ford, on the edge of where the Coldstream Priory would have been, and points directly to the battle site on Branxton Moor.
