In both sculptures a male and female figure are crouching against a shield with 'IB' (Imperial Buildings) inscribed on it. One pair depicts a man holding a sledgehammer and a semi clad girl cradling an object in her left arm. The other pair depicts a Roman soldier wearing full armour and holding a shield and sword and a semi clad girl looking at a ship.
