Oil painting of a farming scene by George Ransom. The scene is made up of a field with a large tree in the foreground in blossom. There is also a pond in the left-hand corner of the scene. Around the pond are some ducks and further back are some chickens in the shade of a one-storey barn. Under the large tree and in the field are a number of cows. Behind the barn are more trees and the roofs of two other houses. It is probably spring and the sky is slightly cloudy. The frame (not pictured) is wooden with white lines.
