A large room with Western Islamic-style arches in the background. Five men wearing kaftans (?) and turbans stand in front of the arches. A young woman and two men stand at the centre in the foreground. The woman is wearing a flat cap, pantaloons, a shirt and a shawl tied around her waist. She points at the older man opposite her, who is wearing knee-length pantaloons, a short jacket, a shirt and a turban. He is barefoot and stands with his arms and legs akimbo. He is staring back at the woman and appears to be angry. Another man stands between them. He is similarly dressed but also wearing a long coat. His hands are in his trouser pockets. Initials NB (?) in the lower left corner.
