This is a two-storeyed building whose decorated first floor has survived whilst the ground floor has been frequently altered by the addition of shops. The long band shows bunches of grapes framed by fleur de lys with the Bayning family coat of arms above set under a knight's helmet and the Tudor Rose supported by a lion and unicorn. The single-handed clock was added when there was a clockmaker in one of the shops.
