Poster, British Railways (Eastern Region), Essex, by Terence Cuneo, about 1948. Coloured lithograph depicting an Essex watermill, with white-painted wooden walls situated over a stream with colourful flowers on its banks. The British Railways totem logo is at bottom left, with the text "'Rambles in Essex, Illustrated book (with maps) from stations and bookstalls, 1/-". The watermill featured is the Grade II* listed Hallingbury Mill, Little Hallingbury, Bishop's Stortford, on the River Stort (built 1874, closed 1952). Format double royal.
