This painting depicts an England player in possession of the ball being tackled by two players in red jerseys, possibly Wales players. The artist studied at the University of Wales in Swansea, and Chelsea School of Art and Kings College in London. Most of his paintings are based on images of the Home Nations rugby (England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales).
