The central entrance is flanked by twin Doric columns, supporting an open segmental pediment with a palm-flanked inscribed cartouche, and window set within a pilaster-flanked surround with an open pedimental canopy containing a scrolled cartouche over crossed palms. It has a ball-capped central attic with the inscription 'BOROUGH OF WOOLWICH' and the tile-hung gable ends are flanked with moulded urns.
