The sculpture is thought to be the only seated sculpture of Elizabeth II, originally commissioned to celebrate her 90th birthday and later to celebrate our longest reigning monarch. She was portrayed wearing her Order of the Garter robes. It was unveiled by Rt Rev. James Langstaff and Councillor David Turner.
