Poster, London and North Eastern Railway, East Coast Craft , No 1, The Essex Oysterman, by Frank Mason, 1929. Coloured lithograph depicting an oysterman fishing boat off a beach at night with sails lowered. Accompanying text reads "To be found in the creeks and rivers of Essex. Watch boats protect the oyster beds. In the off-season they fish for scallops off the French coast" and "Visit East Anglia, Ask for the Holiday Handbook at booksellers and L.N.E.R. agencies. Price 6d". Format: double royal. Dimensions: 40 x 25 inches, 1016 x 635 mm.
