A life-sized portrait statue depicting Bowie in two poses; as Ziggy Stardust in 1973 and later from around 2002 in his Heathen period. The statue is set on a background containing several low relief portraits of the musician throughout his life. To his left is a relief of album covers and records. He stands on a half-circle base etched with zodiac symbols and the title of the work. The sculpture has a webcam and audio element. The statue commemorates Bowie's strong links with the Aylesbury Friars Music Club. The sculpture is flanked by information plaques; one lists all the project donors and the other provides a comprehensive outline of the project. There is also a photo plaque of the Friars Club, now demolished.
