The one on the left is of a field in front of hills labelled as Red Screes. The one on the right is more detailed located near Bowfell of larches and a wooded field with a wall - there is an added label on the right of this saying 'E. of S. Knott' and below the composition is a title/note: 'Bowfell & Pikes under snow - clear day.' Both of these drawings are boxed in a drawn square. The last drawing at the bottom is of a stile or kissing gate along a wall flanked by two trees with a path - with the attached label 'View from Point A above stile looking N. Sheltered from S.'. On the verso is a biro sketch of a bull stag with antlers, it resembles more of a horse than a deer - back of paper has printed signature lines concerning something to do with January 5th (no date given).
