A view of the cottage or boathouse in Laugharne where Dylan Thomas and his family lived from 1949 to 1953. The artist was principal of the Carmarthen College of Art from the end of the Second World War until his retirement in 1967. He and his wife, Min, lived in Laugharne during this period. The linear, draughtsman-like style is typical of much of his work.
