A drinking fountain and immediately adjacent water trough, both no longer in use. They were installed for the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, replacing a hand-pumped well and rectangular trough. The fountain is of rectangular plan. It has basins on the north and south faces with the bases of taps above (taps not extant). It has head and shoulder reliefs of Queen Victoria on two faces, one is of the young queen, garlanded with oak leaves, the other is of the queen at the time of her Diamond Jubilee, garlanded by laurel leaves. The fountain is otherwise decorated and inscribed on all four faces. Each corner is flat and bears a relief carving of a rose, a rose and thistle, a rose, and another plant, possibly peace lilies. The fountain was originally topped by a coronet, now missing.
