A plaque commemorating Dr William Gilbert Grace, the English amateur cricketer. He was widely acknowledged as the greatest player of all time, especially in terms of his importance to the development of the sport. The plaque is mounted on the front of the posts of the Nevil Road gates, which are known as Grace's Gates.
