The ship on the left is the 'Royal Charles'. After the English fleet was defeated, the ship was towed to Holland by the Dutch and the stern carvings still survive in the collection of the Rijkmuseum. Tin 2012, the Dutch government loaned the carvings to the National Maritime Museum.
