Philanthropist and charitable giver who heads the Clore Duffield Foundation. Dame Vivien's achievements include raising the funds for the £100 million Royal Opera House redevelopment and leading the campaign to raise £20 million for the South Bank Centre. She set up the Clore Leadership programme with the former Culture Secretary, Chris Smith.
Charlotte Harris won the first prize in the BP Portrait Award 2003 when she was still a student. The books in the painting reflect Dame Vivien's passions, which include opera, ballet, art and literature.
