This colour Polaroid print forms part of a photographic series of children's writers, for which Sulter was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery for their 2001 exhibition 'Beatrix Potter to Harry Potter: Portraits of Children's Writers'. It depicts Dame Jacqueline Wilson (née Aitken), a novelist best known for her children's literature, including the well-known 'Tracy Beaker' stories.
