William Morris designed 'Daisy' in 1864. This repeat pattern of daisies with red and yellow flowers was inspired by floral motifs from an illuminated manuscript of the fifteenth-century 'Froissart's Chronicles'. Daisy was the second wallpaper that Morris designed, but the second to be issued and was hand block printed by Jeffrey & Co. for the Morris Firm.
