The work is probably sixteenth-century and has an ancient stone rubble tower of two-storeys. There is an arched window above a four canted arched doorway, an interesting seventeenth-century clock, and a curfew bell in gabled turret. It is said to be the oldest building in Moreton-in-the-Marsh and was formerly used as a lock-up, as indicated by the Tudor-arch doorway with shielded door at the south-west corner.
