The corbel is carved to form the head of an animal, although the lower portion is damaged. The head has round and staring eyes, and is topped by an abacus which is carved in low relief with a series of chevrons. The head is attached to a damaged rectangular block, the upper and lower faces of which are worked flat. The back surface was also originally worked flat but is now damaged.
