The upper part of the corbel is broken but the remains of a stylised figure can be seen, carved in low relief on the curved outer face. The head is shown with fluted forms around it, which could represent hair or a halo. The mouth is open, with the teeth clearly shown, and the very small hands are raised to the chin. The arms are also shown, again very small and thin, and out of scale with the head. The underside of the corbel is worked flat as is one side, although this is damaged, while the other side is roughly worked.
