Statue of an angler with fishing rod and keep net. (The fishing rod is no longer in place due to vandalism.) It is intended to commemorate the people of Reading who worked at the Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory which closed in 1989. The model for the statue was Keith Cooper (aged 71 in 1992) – a retired postman and keen angler.
