Coded signals intercepted at Bletchley Park were printed as perforated or ‘Baudot’ tape, whose proportions are reflected in the six panels. When viewed at close proximity, the panels have an abstract quality and when viewed from a distance the matrix of holes merge to form a portrait of Bill Tutte. There are six perforated panels on a semi-circular base with inlaid circular paving, two benches, an information post and lights.
