The building took on its present form in the eighteenth century, although considerable changes were made later to suit Victorian styles of interior design.
This fine painting has much lovely detail. You may notice that the roof on the left-hand side of the tower is unfinished. The bare canvas shines through which is unusual for the time. We can only guess why this is.
