Born in Cumbernauld in 1955, Richard Walker attended Glasgow School of Art from 1973 to 1977. His work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions at important Scottish galleries such as Talbot Rice Gallery, The University of Edinburgh in 1999 and the Glasgow Art Centre in 1983. In these three panels Walker demonstrates his lifelong interest in the theatre. Abstract pools of colour are created by abandoned props such as cloths and curtains.
