A red brick clock tower with sandstone banding and dressings, and inscriptions on its seaward side. The square-plan tower rises from a cruciform base with corner buttresses and has a tent roof with metal finial. The lowest stage of the tower has bench seats under lead canopies. Above these are three light-mullioned windows under gablets. The clock stage is sandstone and is supported by corner corbels. Below the clock stage are lozenge windows on each side of the tower.
