Following an invite to make a 'Molly Spoon', representing lost and hidden LGBTQ+ heritage in Haringey, artist and theatrical entertainer Mark Mander responded with his glamorous 3D interpretation of his real-life stage alter ego Clementine, the living fashion doll – superstar.

His sculptural work shows a framed 'Molly Spoon' representing Clementine, made from a wooden spoon, decorated with glittery corset, a jewelled necklace, earrings and belt and a pink feathered, sequined skirt.
The artwork comes with a label which reads 'Molly name: Clementine. Molly story: “Clementine the living fashion doll” is a puppet who has appeared on stage, film and TV all over the world’.

The work was exhibited in the 'Molly Spoon Archive' exhibition at Bruce Castle Museum in 2014, in partnership with Tim Redfern, UCL and Share Academy.
