With inscription. A silver impression of church and angels. Black wood frame with gilt trim and glass. A dear son aged 23 years drowned. The boat "Ellora" was run down. This is typical of Victorian memorials and might act as a focus for the family's grief in the absence of a grave if the man were lost at sea. In this case the boat was lost due to a collision off the Norfolk coast. "
