Bust portrait of Catherine of Braganza, her dark hair braided on the shoulders in a fashion that recalls the later subjects of Velázquez. On the back of her head she wears a small gold-and-pearl crown. She has drop-pearl earrings, pendant and necklace. She wears a blue robe with ermine collar and lining and a green dress with embroidery. inscribed at the top right is C.RA. This picture is not an original from life, but might be a more or less contemporary copy.
