In the centre of the picture is a large black and white bull, facing right. Standing next to it are a brown and white cow, and a white calf, facing front. Sitting in the bottom right-hand corner is a large black bull, its back to us; by its side are two goats and two sheep, by the edge of a pool on the left. Behind it is a large tree, with a goat standing beneath it. A panoramic background landscape shows fields, fences and trees on the right, with grazing cattle and sheep.
